Come Learn and share with Family or friends. Learn all phases and levels of the art of Horsemanship with your horse at Shades of Oak Educational Center with Elizabeth Graves.
You arrange the group, no minimum but is limited up to 5 horse and rider teams.These are not open to the public during your stay. You pull together your group and book the dates. No limit to number of days. Weekdays and weekends available.
Workshop Fee’s
$600.00 per day for the group. Not per individual.
$200.00 non-refundable booking fee required
confirming and holding the dates.
This fee is deducted from the total daily fee

No dates will be held without booking fee.
Stabling
$15.00 per day, you clean.
Stalls are 10’X 14’ wood, 8’ in height, with pine shavings.
Provide your own hay and grain.
Turn out available for exercise.
Facility
Indoor arena, 40’ and 50’ round pens.
Electrical for camper hookups, no fee.
Plenty of room for tent set up’s, no fee.
Heated Lounge, microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator,
charcoal grill, phone and Internet access.
Campfire pit by pond.Around Town
Forestville State Park with horse trails and camping
within 16 miles.
Spring Valley is 2.4 miles away and has a good
grocery store, butcher shop and bakery with
several cafes and fast food businesses.
Motel in Spring Valley is Spring Valley Inn’s
and Suites. 26 miles from the city of Rochester.
Lovely Cabin available for accommodations 1 mile from

All horses must be in good condition, wormed,
hooves trimmed and ready to work.
Neg. Coggins within one year required.
Out of state horses must have current health certificate.
Vaccinations up to date, mandatory are eastern, western,
influenza, Rhino, tetanus and West Nile.
No horses with lice accepted on facility
No horses that have had strangles within 4 months of
the last external signs will be accepted.
Any owner of infected horse will assume any financial
loses to Shades of Oak/Elizabeth Graves LLC.
This is a strangles free facility.
Riders/Handlers
All Riders/handlers and guests are required to
read and sign a liability release.
All riders are encouraged to wear a helmet.
If a rider waives the use of wearing a helmet
an added Release must be signed.Shades of Oak Educational Center is a special
environment and we hope you will enjoy and
